EBU MOBILITY AND TRANSPORT CONFERENCE - OCTOBER 2002

 

The European Blind Union Commission on Mobility and Guide Dogs will be holding their first European Conference on October 14th and 15th 2002, in Paris.

 

The Conference will cover mobility training and all aspects of travelling, either by walking or on public transport, for blind or partially-sighted people. A survey produced by the Commission on all aspects of guide dog training and the quality of service will be published, and debated.

 

The Conference is aimed at all those who have an interest in the mobility and transport needs of visually impaired people, including the visually impaired themselves and their organisations, representatives of national governments and local authorities, transport operators, and mobility and guide dog professionals.

 

The cost of the Conference is eighty Euros per day, including lunch.

 

The Conference will be conducted in English, with French translation. If you require any other language, please bring your own interpreter with you.
